Bobcat tracks

We recently had a short rain fall that cleaned the slate for new tracks to be observed in the muddy creek bed at Riley Wilderness Park. This first set is what I believe are bobcat tracks. There are no claw marks and you can clearly see three lobes on the hind edge of the heel pad. There are also two lobes on the leading edge of the heel pad, dogs only have one. You can read more about canine vs. feline tracks here: http://www.bear-tracker.com/caninevsfeline.html

There is a whole lot going on in this next picture. Any guess what tracks these are? You can see the bobcat tracks here again.

Here's a beautiful landscape by Sophie
